On Monday, January 7th, it was announced that the stunning image (pictured below) of an Indochinese Tiger shaking snow from her coat, titled The Explosion!, had won the National Geographic Photo Contest for 2012. The photograph took home the Nature award, as well as the Grand-Prize.
