Faster than a speeding bullet! Your mission is to photograph objects in motion, or any subject which conveys a sense of speed. Subjects? Everything from racing cars to crawling babies. Your pictures need to clearly need to show motion. Use a fast shutter speed to stop action, or a slow shutter speed to emphasize motion. Panning to move with the action will also be a good technique for this competition. So choose a moving subject and send us a picture that captures movement.
Entries must be submitted from October 1, 2006, through December 31, 2006. Winners will be announced February 2006.
All entries must be received by midnight, December 31, 2006.
And, to give you a good head start, here's a description of what will be the next World-Wide Photo Contest.
