Photo Projects.

One of the things that makes NYI's training so valuable is that it gives you the opportunity to study with established photographers. While completing the lesson materials for each unit of your Fundamentals Course, you will complete two Photo Projects that give you the opportunity to put everything you've learned to practical use. You will then send your Photo Projects to the school where they will be carefully evaluated by one of our teachers — each of whom is a successful working photographer.

Your teacher will record an audio evaluation of your work, letting you know the strong points of your photographs, and any areas for improvement. This is an opportunity for you to get insider tips from a professional. Each of our instructors is both a working photographer and an experienced educator who has been trained to comment carefully on every aspect of your work.

The Photo Projects give you an opportunity to study one-on-one with a pro. It's just like having a personal tutor. Best of all, you can return to your audio evaluations as often as you wish, taking full advantage of your teacher's insight.

By the time you finish the Fundamentals Course, you will have a collection of professional-looking photographs that you will feel proud to show your friends and family members, hang on the wall, or give as gifts.

Plus, once you've finished all your projects, you'll receive NYI's Fundamentals of Digital Photography Certificate of Completion. This beautiful Certificate is proof that you've studied with the best — and you can display it with pride on a wall in your home or office.
