Photo Projects
One of the things that makes NYIP's photography training so valuable is that it gives you the
opportunity to study with established photographers. While completing the lesson materials for
each unit of your Fundamentals Course, you will complete two Photo Projects that give you the
opportunity to put everything you've learned to practical use. You will then send your Photo
Projects to the school where they will be carefully evaluated by one of our teachers — each of
whom is a successful working photographer.
Your teacher will record an audio evaluation of your work, letting you know the strong points
of your photographs, and any areas for improvement. This is an opportunity for you to get
insider tips from a professional. Each of our instructors is both a working photographer and an
experienced educator who has been trained to comment carefully on every aspect of your work.

The audio evaluations are recorded digitally and sent back to you via email. It's just like having
a personal tutor!
By the time you finish our Beginner Photography Course, you will have a collection of

Plus, once you've finished all your projects, you'll receive NYIP's Fundamentals of Digital
